Last weekend while I was in Denver, I spent one morning hitting all the garage sales with my mother and sister-in-law. Garage sales are usually hit or miss (estate sales are my ish). But that day was my day. We pulled up to a house that I didn't really want to go up to and while I was perusing I looked down to see a bag full of these amazing tribal(y) pillows, each marked for a DOLLAR. I mean, I don't know what this woman was thinking selling them for a dollar a piece. I would have paid a lot more. I promptly said, "Okay, well can I have all of them?" because duh!
They did have that overly pungent grandma's house/mothball smell. But never fret, the internet is here. I looked up the best way to get rid of it and read that leaving them outside in the sun does the trick. Sure enough, it worked like magic and they smell like they've never even set foot in an old woman's home. Welcome home, treasures!
