My sister and I have been talking for awhile about getting the guts to put some color in our hair. Last week we finally put our big girl pants on and did it. It was really easy and fun. I am excited to experiment more in the future. We bought all the stuff at Sally's Beauty Supply. Next color: PINK!

i've always wanted to put some dark purpley-red in my hair, but i always felt like i wasn't "edgy" enough or something. i love the pop of color on you!
Love this! I've only had the guts to do one color: bright crazy RED. On all of my hair. For some reason though- a chunk of teal seems more gutsy! Maybe it's because I feel like red is still KIND OF a natural hair color? Anyway- you look lovely!

I love how you photographed your new change. Especially the last photo. I am a fan of crazy colors in hair, I first had a pink streak in the eighth grade then last year I branched out and followed the ombre colored tips trend. I like adding colors because you don't have to color your whole head and it isn't forever permanent.

I absolutely love the pop of green especially against your lovely dark hair. I tried to add some pink streaks to my hair a few years ago but when I went to rinse the dye out the water washed it across my entire head resulting in an accidental pink-all-over do - luckily I loved it :) Just after finding your lovely blog and I'm an instant fan - it's a feast for the eyes :)

I want to do this! I had purple put on top of my natural hair color (brown), but of course it wasn't super vibrant. Do you have any tips for bleaching your own hair? That's the part I'm most nervous about.

I had teal in my hair once a few times! Just be careful when you tire of it! My hairdresser spent FIVE hours trying to get rid of the green hair!
