It's Official

Well, we have been in Colorado for several weeks now. I'm still getting used to the fact that I live in this pretty state again. I've quickly been reminded that I will always get winded after running up a flight of stairs. Also, the mountains are so beautiful but they are impossible to take a decent picture of. And I have been forced to start using conditioner again. But if I'm being honest, the move didn't really feel official until all the radio stations were programmed in the car. That is when you know you have settled: when you can hear Rihanna with just a click of a button.

(also, I officially changed my URL to thesecretlifeofbee.com! yay.)

Love your outfit! That's so true, a move isn't official until the radio settings are programed. haha! I never thought of that before, but it's so true.

by the time i was eleven i had moved seven times. i'm still in the same place now. however i have to agree with you, each move didn't feel official until we found our radio stations and mom could get to the library without a GPS. congratulations on your officiality ;) so jealous! that's something i need to look into this year. what program did you use? oh anf i love the mix of prints even though i could never pull that off. and plaid is pretty much my favorite. xx | natalia

I can definitely relate with programming the radio presets, except I've lived in the midwest for a year and a half and just set them last month.

Love your outfit!!

Oh! The radio station switch. That really is the clincher. That and changing the plates on your car. (I waited an entire year to do that after my last move. In fact, I just changed my plate on Jan. 1. It was a sad day... since my Northwest Territories one was in the shape of a polar bear and now I'm stuck with a boring old rectangle.)

Congrats on settling in and on styling plaid and floral together in an absolutely delightful way!

Oh wowww, the colours in your outfit match together beautifully! Haha, I'm liking the thing about the car radios - having never moved house myself, I can't testify, but it seems a fairly monumental change ;D ♥

Enjoy living in Colorado doll! Sounds like you love it! I have always been obsessed with mountains (stupid Indiana). I totally get the radio stuff. Like a new car doesn't feel like yours until you set your stations!

Yay, mountains! :) We have lots where I live, and when I went to visit the East Coast (Washington, Philly and such), it felt sooo weird to me to have such a flat horizon! lol.

That's when I knew my move to Utah was official -- when I gave up all my great Idaho stations up for new ones and had to figure out how much Kesha I could stand (which isn't a lot).
