Instagram in 2012

2012 was the year I fell in love with iphone photography and instagram. These are some of my favorite shots from the year. I love that I can capture special little moments without having to lug my big camera around. You can follow along @secretlifeofbee

In other news, I get lots of comments with specific questions about things like photography, design, or thrifting. It gets kind of difficult to answer them without tracking down each person individually. So, I would like to do a little Q&A. If you have any questions for me, you can leave them in the comments of this post or email me. I will answer them next week. Thanks!

Any general photography tips, specially for those without expensive equipment? The Internet has so much but it is hard to pick out what is actually useful :S

I would love to know how you edit your images? And if you use Photoshop what levels are you decreasing/Increasing to reach the desired look.

my question is about posing, i kinda hate posing cause it takes the natural out of many pictures. so i guess i want to know, what is your process in a shoot? do you look at inspiration beforehand or do you just kinda know where to put people?

Or what kind of conversations do you have with people to help them relax?

anyway, as always you're are so classy and wonderful and i just love your blog.

I've asked for a proper record player for my 16th, but i don't want a really upgraded one, i'm really into old fashioned things. Are there any brands or companies that are especially good for record players? Tata xox c:

I love your tip about using a remote for your camera, but where can I find one and how do I know if there's one that's compatible with my camera?
