Date Night

This weekend will go down as the weekend that Jordan and I went to the movies to see separate films in separate theaters. Which might bother some couples but when you realize Life of Pi has been out for nine days and you have yet to see it, you go and your husband goes to a movie he wants to see and both of you are happy. This weekend will also go down as the weekend that the internet had a heart attack because of the Taylor Swift and Harry Styles love rumor. But that is not related to our thing. Frankly, who cares about any of it? Both our thing and the Haylor thing. You get me.

  4. I love the pumpkin with the stripes, Bri!
And that seems perfectly fine to me; the date idea. Why not make sure you both get enjoyment out of it?

  5. Would love to try seeing two different films on my next cinema trip, but I doubt my friend will see the point in it. :( But then she is the one that wants to film twice! :]

  7. 1. independent movie seeing? only the best ever. the only possible way it could get better would be to walk out of the theatre and back to your favorite person. full support! 2. this explains the strange text i got last night where a pal told me she just waited on Taylor & Harry. I had not even a little bit of a clue what this meant. So for the record, they also had a dinner date last night. Let the rumors flow. xo (p.s. who is harry styles?? time to google..)

  10. To be honest, I think it would have been worse if you had forced your husband to see something he didn't want to, or the other way around. It doesn't hurt to do things alone. And it doesn't hurt to choose what's best for yourself and your husband for himself. I bet you both had a lot to talk about after the films were over. And, you had completely different experiences to share.

    Also, gorgeous outfit! :)

  13. Oh Haylor. All I care about is the song that will come out of it next. I feel like the big thing today is Kate Middleton's pregnancy, ha. I have always wanted to try going to a movie by myself but I'm too scared. I know, I'm such a whimp. Reallllly want to see Life of Pi though. How was it?!

  14. The color of this skirt is gorgeous! Also, I think going into separate theaters is a GREAT idea. If my boyfriend and I didn't have such similar taste in movies, I would totally just go see what I want to see by myself.
