Gossip Girl

I wish I could say that the last three days were spent doing really fun things like putting up Christmas decorations or raiding Target for discounted Friends dvds. Yet alas, I spent the weekend with the flu on our couch watching Gossip Girl. Here's a little heads up: when you start analyzing your emails for ulterior motive from the senders, that is when you know you've watched too much GG. But in other news, best husband award goes to my Jordan for taking care of me all weekend. Also, most obnoxious award goes to the guys that live above us. I mean, are they jump roping up there? I don't get it.

  1. I hope you're feeling better! I have the same feeling about my upstairs neighbors! WHAT are they doing?! So far I've come up with: playing fetch with several heavy balls and many large dogs, using their living room as a furniture making factory, or hosting high heel walking class for very large men. There can be no other reasonable explanation for the thuds. ;) xo

  2. Hope you're feeling better! I try to get the apartment on the top floor whenever possible because noisy upstairs neighbors drive me crazy (also, I've seen way too many cop shows where people break into lower-level apartments via windows). So, I guess that makes me the noisy upstairs neighbor ;)

  6. I am in love with the colour palette in this outfit. So wonderful for these almost-winter-but-still-autumn weeks.

  10. Sickness aside, sounds like the perfect weekend! Haha. Sometimes laying around watching your fav television reruns is just the best medicine. :) Hope you're feeling better, and so glad I found your blog!

  12. In my first apartment, I named the mysterious person that lived in the apartment above me "elephant man." Yeah. He also loved to vacuum. A lot.

  13. You think YOU watch too much GG? You should meet my best friend and me. We're addicts. We've rewatched every episode like a thousand times. If someone says something and it reminds us of something someone's said in the show.. we'll make a joke and no one else will get it except for us. Good stuff. Ha! Addicts I tell ya! :)

  14. Oh GG, for how much I love it there is definitely a thing called too much. Like you said, you start getting paranoid about everything, ha. Yay to good husbands taking good care of us when we are sick ;)

  16. I started watching it when it hit netflix and finished the show within a couple months. I noticed I was more suspicious of everything...and then I felt like I must be pretty boring if no one is currently trying to stab me in the back. Such a silly show. I love it.

  18. I can totally sympathize with you... I watched a few too many episodes of the office this weekend a few too many of downtown abbey last week. I need to brake this tv show addiction of mine! At least it's only a few shows, right?

  19. After blitzing through a couple seasons of Gossip Girl, I too was looking at my friends a bit differently. That show is not healthy.
Speaking of healthy, the flu is the pits! Does it seem to get worse each year or is that just me? The opposite of fun, although a great hubs can def make it more bearable ;)
