Having just moved into an apartment, I wanted a fun way to display weekly meals (Or was it that I never wanted to hear, "What's for dinner?" again?). I have seen a ton of different ways to calendar weekly meals but one day I just had this epiphany to make chalkboard magnets for the fridge. I am really happy with how they turned out and it was super easy to do. The most difficult part was waiting for the paint to dry. Just a few tips: I had to do several coats of the chalkboard paint before it looked right. The stencils ended up being a little messier than I expected. So just go slow when you paint them on. Also, I got all the supplies at Michael's Craft Store. Hope you enjoy!

Such a cute idea! Must give it a try! Thanks for sharing.
This is such a fantastic idea! What a great way of sharing with the family what's for dinner instead of being asked the questions.,
this is an awesome idea! :)
I can already tell you're happier =)
I always admire people who can plan their meals in advance like this. I think it's a sign of adulthood.
Unfortunately, we're still a "last minute dinner plans" kind of family.
I love this idea!
Such a good idea! Me and my bf could definitely use this :)
Ranch chicken... good choice :)

wow this is a great DIY thanks for sharing!
I posted about this DIY today and love it! I went to Michaels this morning and got the supplies (they were out of black chalkboard paint, so I'm using green with a mint paint for the stencil). I'm waiting for a second coat of chalkboard paint to dry right now..
fun & cute!
I finished mine on Saturday and finally put a post about it today! I love this so much.
