Find me over at Book of Love (link fixed) today. I'm talking about my favorite book plus a few others. You can find the post here. Like I've mentioned before, I am always looking for new books, what are your favorites?

  1. I love that book! I've been set on naming my future kid Atticus since I was twelve. I recently found out, though, that it's becoming a trendy name, which is slightly unfortunate.
Also, I think your link for "Book of Love" isn't right. It doesn't lead to the same blog where your post is.

  2. Bee- you HAVE to read "Blue Heaven" by Elaine Kagan. I have a feeling you would love it - it takes you into the early-to-mid 1900's and through the lives of three generations of women in the same family. I randomly picked it up at the library the other day and haven't been able to put it down since! Such a beautiful and touching story. Let me know if you like it!

  4. My favorites:
Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Domingue
    Atonement by Ian McEwan
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner

I love To Kill a Mockingbird too--it's definitely a Southern Gothic classic (and Harper Lee is such a cool lady, too. Have you read up on her bio? If not, it's worth a couple hours of your time to investigate the lady who wrote that book!).

  5. I love this book! I've been a fan of the movie for sometime and I'm finally sitting down to read the book. :) I had a dream last night that I had a daughter and named her Harper. I think that is an adorable name! I like all of the characters for different reasons, as well :)

  7. My mother's favourite, but unfortunately one I've not yet read. Of course, I've seen the old film, but not read it. I will have to put it on my to read list. My favourite is A Clockwork Orange, simply because of it's addictive strangeness.
