Over the weekend we went down to the beach in Galveston. We had a lot of fun on the boogie boards and walking in the sand and coming back with really bad sunburns. But seriously, we came back totally red and shameful. We have been keeping the aloe in the fridge and applying it often. We definitely learned our lesson. You better believe that will never happen again.
(Sidenote: We did put sunscreen on, we're not THAT dumb. We just didn't put it on as generously as we should have. Also, Jordan actually was there. He told me he didn't want his picture taken.)

Ah. The beach. Jealous. My good friend is from Galveston. Not that is matters, but I had to mention it.
And sunburns. Bleh. I am so anti-sun now because of Matt's sister and having a student-doctor-husband. Did you know every sunburn you get before the age of 18 DOUBLES your chance of getting skin cancer? Yeah. We're toast, Bran. Pun intended.
Beach looks so fun! I want to go to the ocean really soon! And sunburns are awful.

it looks beautiful, but i know a lot about bad sunscreens. despite the fact that i am the sunscreen nazi, i've definitely had my fare share.

I always remember to put sunscreen on,but always forget to reapply. I hope the aloe in the fridge keeps you cool! I saw a tip on pinterest about freezing cubes of aloe for use. You could just leave a cube on your back and lay on your stomach letting it melt! haha
my friends just went there and got burnt as well! its her first summer in texas, too :)
Beach days are the best :b
i'm so lucky that i never sunburn, given that i almost always, always forget to bathe myself in sunscreen. (yikes!) these photos are lovely.
I live at the beach but it's damned pebbled. jealous of your sandy toes! x
