Letters from WWII.

Awhile back, Jordan and I went to this estate sale that ended up being a jackpot of vintage finds. They had these WWII letters that Jordan really wanted to get. I didn't really see the point of them though: they were more than I wanted to spend and, as far as we could tell, they were just letters between friends. Well, a couple months later the sale opened back up and I went by myself. They still had the letters and they were marked down a good amount plus another 25% off. I figured I would surprise Jordan for Christmas and get them. After I took them home I realized they were a great find. They actually are letters between sweethearts. The lady selling them obviously didn't know what they were. I have read through quite a few and they are so fun. The handwriting is beautiful and the way he talks to her is just so cute and old timey. Jordan was totally surprised. Win.

Wow! How beautiful! And your photos of them are fantastic as well. I stumbled upon some post cards from the 1930's several months ago, such sweet words were written there! Thanks for introducing yourself on my blog today!

How cute! Do you reckon that it's too much to ask to go back to letter writing? Imagine the excitement of getting a little like that! You have great luck to have gotten them. :)
