I cannot believe Christmas is here and almost gone. It's been a hectic and busy month and will continue to be such through next month. But we are having a good stop in Denver for the holiday with my family. Anyways, pictures say more.

graduation and commissioning.

HOORAY! after this stressful final week of the semester, both Jordan and I are graduated. Jordan with his bachelors and me with my associates. I had no interest in walking or being apart of commencement; (i'm sorry, people. i'm just NOT a graduation kind of person.) But Jordan did all the shenanigans of the weekend:

and DA, DA, DAAAA was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.

I am officially twenty-one, people. you could now ask me to "go out for drinks" and it would totally be allowed. Cuh-razy. I would like to point out, I am wearing red lipstick today. It's a little difficult to tell in the pictures, but I totally am. I'm taking on a new me, while beautifully keeping the old one. So much changing is going to happen in this prime year of twenty-one and I am scared, excited, nervous, anxious, and happy about all of it. Bring it on.

My final portfolio is done!! And five days before it's actually due! Wooo! I decided to expand on my original surreal photograph of the trees in the boots, as seen below.

So my theme was tiny trees and tiny people. We didn't have to have a theme, but I wanted to. So here we go, TA-DA!

Thank you to Jessica for helping me think of the book idea for my last picture. I was really running dry of tree ideas. Also, thank you to Jordan for being my tiny person.
